Cochin/Kochi/kerala:The queen of Arabian sea: An early morning );- a photo by {deepapraveen very busy with work..back soon on Flickr.
My most fvrt City. The most vibrant port city -having a coast line of 48kms-situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula. It is surrounded by the Western Ghats on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west. It was from Kochi that the colonization of India started. It was/is an important spice trading centre. Now it is a significant commercial and industrial hub of India because of the IT boom.
As a final note?
What makes this city beautiful..The people, the sea, Chinese fishing nets, multi culture, Jew street and kaikas biriyani (a famous shop which provides amazing biriyani),Mariane drive, cherai beach..and many more. For me,what makes this city close to my heart is, my days with my friends here..The short train journeys to this city, window shoppings, those second hand book sellers in the street ( A street version of ebay) and those long walks with friends..
Update: I had given a border earlier defining the boundaries( pixel's/datas )in this frame but after traveling with ajay visual panoram"s remarks about the frame above...yes i feel who am i to give boundaries for mother nature? We, the simple human being, always make this mistakes we define (or predefine) things, we try to define almost everything. We try to provide boundaries from ecology to emotions. We limit ourselves with well defined boundaries or self/ social imposed restrictions. Yes the process of elimination. When will we learn to think outside those boxes????
I deleted the boundaries given earlier to the frame..now it is more than pixels it is a beautiful profile of mother nature. I am glad I am part of mother nature...

O goddess Earth, the consort of Vishnu, you whose garments are the oceans and whose breasts are the hills and mountain ranges; please forgive me as I walk on you this day.57
