Dear,
I don't know what are you doing now, at this moment, when I am writing this. I just felt , I should be talking to you right at this very moment, before I change my mind. This moment is destined for talking to you.
I want to tell you about travelling and forgiveness. As a one liner it is simple. Travel and forgive yourself. It is not my contribution. It came as a sign, it came from words, it came from time,it came from the book I am reading now (As you can see from the quote). The movie I randomly picked today said the same, the exact same words, travel and forgive. A friend or a co traveler reproduced the same theme in the most inappropriate conversation about one of the most dry subjects in the world, how to write an academic work with in a short period of time. She said she love to travel and discover herself and forgive.
I didn't say a word, I am too afraid. I always say (most of the time not feeling it) life is a continues travel with out a proper destination.
Have you heard about Mercury? Not the element mercury, well it is connected because as the element this mercury is also not stable moving from place to place, a self confused messenger. This is about the messenger Mercury, the roman mythological character. It is believed that his stories are also associated with the Greek god of travel Hermes, both of them had winged sandals, symbol of travel. There is a story about a traveler and Hermes. As Hermes being the god of travel, travelers often promise something for him for a safe and sound journey. This traveler also made a promise,' what ever he came across in the journey he will give half to Hermes. He found a bag full of dates and almonds and he ate them all. He placed the pits of dates and shells of almond in Hermes temple and said ' See I have the half, I have saved out side and inside for you'. We are also the same, turning our vowes and promises in tune with our need and necessities. We hurt ourselves by this acts. But we are not ready to forgive ourselves. We are hurt by ourselves and we are not ready to continue our travel. We are stuck. But we have to move on. No second is the same, so sunrise is the same, you and me are not the same. We are changing. Forgive yourself and travel.
This is what I want to tell you. I missed you. Badly and deeply. But now I am not missing you. I am sure you will be back tomorrow.
D.
